This event is nearly four decades old and attracts approximately
40,000 visitors each year. It features arts & crafts, concessions, snake handling, prizes to hunters, entertainment, and children's rides.

May - Great Southern Antique Auto Show & Rally

This event is open to antique car enthusiasts, classic cars and street hot rods and includes a parade "rally". Cars are exhibited at Davis Park, but also form a parade through downtown.
July - Lower Muscogee Creek Tribe's Bluegrass & Gospel Festival

This event features entertainment, dancing, food, and Native American crafts and exhibits.
September - Lower Muscogee Creek Tribe's Pow Wow & Heritage Festival

Date: Fourth weekend of September
Location: Tama Tribal Town, 107 Long Pine Drive, Whigham, GA.
Celebration of the Native American lifestyles of the Lower Muscogee
Creek Tribe. Special events and demonstrations of Native American
lifestyles including a drama, dancing, drumming and special crafts. School children are encouraged to attend.
November - Mule Day

Parade Time: 11:00 AM
Sponsored by the Calvary Lion's Club, this
big event is over a quarter century old and attracts over 75,000 vistors each year. Enjoy a big parade with mules, horses and antique tractors; contests, and all day entertainment. Over 450 arts & crafts exhibitions, concessions, cane grinding, and syrup making make Mule Day a time to remember.
December - Grady County Annual Christmas Parade

Sponsored by Cairo's Merchant's Association in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce, this popular event is one of the largest Christmas parades in South Georgia, drawing more than 90 entries.
